groups was formed in Boyle Heights by founder
Maricela Martinez in the year 2007
Maricela was born to a family of mariachi musicians from Jalisco,
Mexico. During her childhood in Mexico, her father was
instrumental in passing on his love of mariachi. She learned
how to play trumpet with her dad, and Crecencio Hernandez
a very popular trumpet player.
Maricela has more than 20 Years of experience as a mariachi.
She's worked with some of the most famous mariachi musicians
in the US and in Mexico. She had a dream to have a traditional
mariachi band of professional quality so she could offer her people
an extensive repertory of
traditional mariachi music beautifully performed with a caring
costumer service motto, for all business, family and any special
event requests at an affordable price so everyone could have the
opportunity to listen to an All-Female Mariachi.
