"Mariachi de Uclatlán is a UCLA student band that has performed all around
the world. Based in West LA and will service all of greater Los Angeles, CA.

Mariachi de Uclatlán is a student group comprised of mainly
of UCLA students, both graduate and undergraduate, founded
in the 1960s. It is the oldest collegiate mariachi group in the U S.

Over the long history of the group, they have performed all around
the world, and most were recently invited to perform in at Utrecht
University's United Muziek festival in the Netherlands.

Mariachi de Uclatlán features students, both graduate and
undergraduate, from diverse backgrounds, majoring in everything
from ethomusicology to Latinx/Chicanx studies to aerospace
engineering. We are based out of the West LA area, but will perform
anywhere in the greater Los Angeles area.
